the main research interests of christine bertram are related to economic aspects of the sustainable management of marine resources and services. moreover, she is interested in climate economics, the non-market valuation of environmental goods and services as well as the direct impacts of environmental amenities on human well-being. christine bertram is strongly involved in interdisciplinary research, carried out, e.g., within the network "the future ocean" based in kiel. currently, her research is predominantly related to the project "economic assessments of coastal blue carbon ecosystems" (ecoblue) funded by kiel marine science based at kiel university.
